3: During our 3-hour block, we went over the Intro to the Victorian Period, but skipped the Intro to Victorian Literature, and the intro to Gothic Literature (students need to read these slides on their own). We also worked on our Jane Eyre bingo cards, but if you missed it, you'll need to pick up an official card from Mrs. Firth in order to complete it.
Note: Next week is EOC Testing and the schedule is here. Our class may or may not meet every day, and things are going to be unusual. You can always check our class calendar to see what the PLAN is, and know that we'll be trying to stay as close to it as we can. All classes: We continued reading the excerpt from Byron's "Don Juan" in our textbooks (read the last 3 stanzas on p. 18 and all of p. 19). Any classes who did not finish were expected to do so on their own. We finished or nearly finished the "Don Juan" note sheet, which is due in class tomorrow.

We answered the first 3 questions about Don Juan the legend and "Don Juan" the poem on the "Don Juan" note sheet.
