2, 3, 4: We took the Hamlet Unit Exam and turned in our Act 5 Study Guides.
6, 7: We watched clips from various versions of Hamlet: Ethan Hawke's, Mel Gibson's, and David Tennant's. 2, 3, 4: Classes were truncated due to the Holiday Concert. 6, 7: We took the Hamlet Unit Exam and turned in our Act 5 Study Guides. 2, 3, 4: We finished the Act 5 Study Guide, turned it in, and took the Hamlet Act 5 Quiz. We watched the Thug Notes Hamlet episode again to review, and the Simpsons version as well. Different classes reached different points with the versions of Hamlet we will review in part: Ethan Hawke's, Mel Gibson's, and David Tennant's. Because of the holiday music concert tomorrow, periods 2, 3, and 4 will take the Hamlet Unit Exam on Monday.

All classes: We finished reading Hamlet and acted out the final swordfight/death scene. We started the Hamlet Act V Study Guide, but will finish it tomorrow before taking the Hamlet Act 5 Quiz.
All classes: We read as far into Hamlet V.ii as we could; most classes made it through about line 100. Mrs. Firth also provided a brief introduction to Mid-Century French Philosophy so that we could better understand Hamlet's thinking in Act V.
2, 3, 4, 7: We began reading Act V of Hamlet as a class. On average, we reached to about line 200. Mrs. Firth also drew everyone's attention to the Final Exam Review Sheet that they can use to prepare for their 100-question, multiple-choice exam next week.
6: We took the Act IV Quiz that we didn't have quite enough time to take on Friday. We then began to read Act V of Hamlet as a class, and we reached line 190.
