All classes: Classes were shortened and interrupted today due to Chromebook distribution. We went over words 9-12 on the Restoration Period #3 Vocab List, then turned in our "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time" homework. Mrs. Firth then introduced Samuel Pepys, and we read a selection from Chapter 4 in Claire Tomalin's Pepys biography, The Unequalled Self.

All classes: We went over words 5-8 on the Restoration Period #3 Vocab List, then finished reading "To His Coy Mistress" and worked on/turned in the comprehension questions on the back. The annotation of "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time" and the corresponding questions are due at the beginning of class tomorrow.
